She took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “WTF! Is this really 21st century Mumbai?!?! I was denied entry at a restaurant today. It’s okay if you don’t agree with my fashion choices. It’s NOT to treat me differently for it. And if you are, admit it! Don’t give some lame excuses. Pissed off ! Please look into it. @zomato #mumbai.” Uorfi tagged the food delivery app Zomato in her story.
Soon after, paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared the video of her argument with the restaurant and it turns out, that this was an ad for Zomato. In the video, Uorfi can be seen in an argument with the host of the restaurant and dubs him as an ‘Uorfi Javed hater’. The video was shared with ‘#ad’ explaining that this was indeed an ad for the food delivery platform.
