Bengaluru: In an absolutely shocking incident, a woman in Bengaluru has made an allegation that a Zomato delivery executive barged into her home and assaulted her, leaving her with a fractured nasal bone.
The incident took place a day earlier, but came to light on Wednesday after Hitesha Chandranee, an Instagram influencer, shared a video on social media in which she narrates the ordeal she went through.
Hitesha, who can been crying with a bleeding nose, alleges that the Zomato delivery executive “barged” into her house and “attacked” her following an argument over a delay in the delivery of her order. He snatched the order and ran away.

Zomato responded to her tweet, assuring her every assistance in the police investigation.
“Hey Hitesha, thank you for speaking to us, we can assure you this is not the experience our delivery universe stands for. Our local representative shall be in touch with you shortly to help you with the police investigation along with assistance on the medical care required. We can’t emphasise how sorry we are, rest assured we’ll take necessary actions to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.”
