Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a volleyball player collapsed while playing the match and died.
The youth was identified as Himanchal Dehury was playing a semi-final match at a sports ground at Talcher Thermal Power Station in Angul district yesterday night.
Dehury was playing for Brajakot team against Gobara team when he suddenly collapsed in the midst of the game around 10 pm on Tuesday.
He was immediately rushed to power plant hospital for treatment. From there he was shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar where the doctors declared him dead in the early hours of Wednesday.
