Water Enters Bhattarika Temple After Heavy Rainfall In Odisha

Narsinghpur: Mahanadi floodwaters entered the Bhattarika temple here in Cuttack district following incessant rain in Odisha for last three days.

Water entered into the premises of the Sanctum Sanctorum (Garbha Griha) which forced the servitors to shift the presiding deity of the goddess to a higher place.

Several Odisha districts have experienced heavy rainfall which is expected to continue for another two days.

Acres of farmlands were also inundated in Narasinghpur and Baramba areas of the district.
