Pune: Shane Watson (78 off 40) and M S Dhoni (51* off 22) guided Chennai Super Kings to an impressive win over Delhi Daredevils by 13 runs in the IPL on Monday.

Both the batsmen set the tone for the match as the team ended with 211 runs on board at the loss of four wickets.

Delhi could feel the pressure from the beginning, having to score 10 runs per over. Rishabh Pant scored 79 off 45 balls, while Vijay Shankar was unbeaten at 54 off 31 balls as the team edged closer to the target. However, DD fell short of 13 runs and ended up at 198 for five.

For Super Kings, Lungi Ngidi took one wicket for 26 in four overs on his IPL debut.

Delhi have already lost six matches from eight and are out of contention from the play-offs.
