Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued cold wave to severe cold wave warning for some districts of Odisha for the next three days.
The IMD, in its latest forecast on Sunday, issued orange warning (cold wave to severe cold wave) for Mayurbhanj, Angul, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh and Bargarh districts.
Yellow warning (cold wave) has been issued for Koraput, Kandhamal, Balasore, Keonjhar, Boudh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Dhenkanal, Cuttack and Deogarh districts.
The minimum temperature over coastal Odisha during this period likely to be below normal by 3 to 4 degree Celsius.
