Weather To Remain Mostly Dry Till March-End In Odisha; 4 Dists To Receive Rain

Bhubaneswar: The maximum temperature is likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsisus at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha during next 4-5 days, stated a report by the Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department on Sunday.

The highest temperature of 40.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Boudh in the last 24 hours followed by Baripada and Angul at 39.6 degree Celsius.
The Twin City of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded a maximum temperature of 36.8 degree Celsius each.

Phulbani recorded the lowest temperature of  21 degrees during the period.

The weather office has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput till 8.30 am of March 28.

The weather is likely to remain dry thereafter till March 31, the weather office stated in its midday bulletin.
