Bargarh: Bargarh Collector Indramani Tripathy released the web portal and poster of the famous Dhanu Jatra in Baragarh district at his office on Friday. Through this portal, one can know about the history of Dhanu Jatra and see the photos, videos and current information on it.
The posters show different sceneries of Mathura Nagar and Gopalpur. People can also find information on daily programmes on the web portal during the Jatra.
Interested people from all over the world can watch live telecast of Dhanu Jatra on the portal.
“All the information about Dhanu Jatra will be available on the web portal. Daily programme schedule including the date, time and guests’ names will also be available in the portal. Videos of important events will also be uploaded,” said Tripathy.
The 11-day-long festival is slated to be held at Bargarh from January 11 to 21.
It is the world’s largest open-air theatre festival. In the evening, Bargarh town transforms into the ancient city of Mathura.
