Bhubaneswar: The victim of the recent Patnagarh wedding gift explosion case Reemarani Sahu appealed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to take stringent action against those involved in the case.
Reemarani, who is undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, said, “I want justice. My family had met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday. A thorough probe should be conducted regarding the origin of the parcel delivered to us, so that the culprits are traced and nabbed at the earliest.”
Reema’s husband Soumyasekhar Sahu and his grandmother Jenamani died
while opening the gift parcel delivered to them in their house at Patnagarh of Balangir district on February 23.During the course of investigation, the police had found that the parcel was sent from Raipur of Chhattisgarh by one RK Sharma through Skying Courier Services.
Later, the Crime Branch took over the case on March 19.
