Malkangiri: With COVID-19 positive cases rising in Malkangiri Municipality and Balimela NAC areas, the district administration has announced weekend shutdown in the two places till August-end.
In an official order, Malkangiri Collector Manish Agarwal said the shutdown will be enforced on Saturdays and Sundays throughout August in the areas under Malkangiri Municipality and Balimela NAC.
All activities except essential services and healthcare services will remain closed during the two days of the week. Details of the order are here:
