Bhubaneswar: The service day of Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat Express has been revised and it will now run daily except Tuesday, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) informed on Wednesday.
It is currently operating daily except Saturday.
The weekly off day on Tuesday will commence from June 3, 2025, and operational day on Saturday will commence from June 7,” it said, attributing the decision to public convenience.
It also clarified that there will be no change in the train’s timings and stoppages at nominated stations. “Passengers are requested to take note of the revised service days and plan their journeys accordingly,” it added.
20836 Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat Express leaves from Puri 5 am and arrives at Rourkela at 12.45 am. In the return journey, the train departs from Rourkela at 2.10 pm and reaches Puri at 9.40 pm.
