Welcome 2021: Long Weekends For Ideal Short Trips; Know Your Dates

Bhubaneswar: As we welcome 2021, there is some really good news for travel bugs. There are 15 long weekends this year that you can plan a short trip to nearby places with friends and family.

But a gentle reminder: Keep precautions in mind because COVID-19 is still very much here.

So here goes the list of long weekends in 2021:

January

January 1 – Friday (New Year’s Day)

January 2 – Saturday

January 3 – Sunday

(This will be a little last moment, but if you are a traveller at heart, you know that impromptu trips always turn into the best memories.)

 

January 15 – Friday (Makar Sankranti)

January 17 – Sunday

January 26 – Tuesday (Republic Day)

Take an off from work on Monday (January 25) and you can enjoy four days at a stretch

(Take an off on Monday (February 15) and you will have four days off.)

March

March 11 – Thursday (Maha Shivratri)

March 13 – Saturday

March 14 – Sunday

Take an off on Friday (March 12) and you will have a four-day long weekend
