Cuttack: The postmortem report of POCSO court judge Subash Behari, who was found dead in his official quarters at CDA Sector-9 in Odisha’s Cuttack city, has revealed that he died due to hanging.
According to sources, Markatnagar police received the postmortem report on Wednesday. The report says Behari died due to hanging by a rope.
There were several rope marks around his neck, according to the report.
The POCSO court judge was found dead in his official quarters on September 2. The judge was on leave and was to join office last Friday. He had sought extension of leave by one more day.
The judge’s mother, Tulasi Behari, alleged that he was murdered by his wife Aparajita Rai and his brother in-law Sarbajeet Rai. Tulasi also filed an FIR against them at Markatnagar police station.
A special team from Commissionerate Police questioned Aparajita at the CDA Sector-9 quarters on Monday.
