What Does Arbaaz Khan Have To Do With Roger Federer’s Retirement?

New Delhi: Ever since Roger Federer announced his retirement from competitive tennis on Thursday, Bollywood’s Arbaaz Khan is also in the news. Well, it’s not really a coincidence going by Google trends. Khan has been considered Federer’s doppelganger for a long time now. It surfaced once again, courtesy filmmaker Hansal Mehta.

Mehta shared Khan’s photo and wrote, “Going to miss you champion. #RogerFederer.”

A look at Google Trends reveals that over the past day, for the search term “Roger Federer”, Arbaaz Khan connections pop up quite a bit. In the related queries, the first is Hansal Mehta. Many who didn’t get the joke had trolled him widely over the photo of Khan. Another related query is “Roger Federer’s father Salim Khan [sic]”. Salim Khan is the father of Arbaaz Khan. “Roger Federer and Arbaaz Khan” and just “Arbaaz Khan” were also among the related queries.

Hansal Mehta, Salim Khan and Arbaaz Khan also found mentions among related topics for the search term “Roger Federer”
