Bhubaneswar: Twenty-eight stores and outlets of Reliance Fresh, Big Bazaar, Vishal Mega Mart and Aadhar Fresh will deliver goods at the doorsteps of Bhubaneswar denizens between 7 am and 11 pm from Friday.
For effective social distancing and to avoid mass congregation of people at markets, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has roped in these stores to maintain the supply chain amid COVID-19 lockdown in the city.
It has also provided the list of WhatsApp numbers of the contact person’s of the respective nearby stores.
A denizen has to WhatApp the list, amount of essential commodities needed and local address to the person concerned. No phone call will be entertained. The bill amount can be paid while receiving the order/consignment from the nearest store, the BMC said in a press release.
