Bhubaneswar: WhatsApp is adding new features such as voice and video calls on its web version.
Currently, beta version 2.2043.7 supports voice calls. The feature was spotted by popular tipster WABetainfo.
According to screenshots shared by them, a pop-up window appears on the user’s PC with options to receive and reject the call. Users will then get an option to mute, decline or start video.
The pandemic has made video conferencing apps popular and it is expected that WhatsApp too will benefit from the new feature.
