When Coronavirus Warned Odia Actor Papu Pom Pom In His Dream! Here’s The Poem

Bhubaneswar: In an effort to make the people aware of the novel coronavirus, Ollywood actor-comedian Papu Pom Pom has composed a poem in Odia.

In the poem, the actor has said the virus had come in his dream last night and advised him to stay indoors with his family and not venture out of his house, maintain cleanliness by thoroughly washing hands and strictly adhere to the government guidelines.

କାଲି ରାତିରେ ମୋ ସପନରେ ଆସିଥିଲା କରୋନା,
ଯେମିତି ତୁ ଘରେ ଅଛୁ ପିଲା ଛୁଆ ଧରି, ସେମିତି ତୁ ଆଉ କିଛ ଦିନ ରହିଯା,
ଜମା ତୁ ହାତଗୋଡ଼ ଅସନା କରନା।
ମତେ ଡ଼ରନା ଜମା ଡରନା, ବିଦେଶିଆ ରଙ୍ଗଧାରୀ ହ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡସେକ କରୁଚୁ, ଆଗଭଳି ନମସ୍କାର ଆଉ କରୁନା,
ବାହାରୁ ଘରକୁ ଆସି ପ୍ରଥମ କାମଟା ହାତଗୋଡ଼ ଜମା ତୁ ଧୋଉନା।
ସୁନା ପିଲା ହେଇଜାରେ ବେଳ ଏବେ ଭଲ ନାଇଁ, ବିପଦକୁ ହୁଇସିଲ୍ ମାରି ଡାକେନା,
ମୁ କରୋନା କିନ୍ତୁ ମତେ। ଜମା ଡ଼ରନା।
୫ରୁ ୧୦, ୧୦ରୁ ୫୦, ୫୦ରୁ ୫୦୦ ତୁ କରନା, ମତେ ଜମା ଡରନା।
ବାମ୍ଫ ନେଲେଣି ସେ ମଣିଷ ଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଯେ ଦିନେ ଭାବୁଥିଲେ ମିଛ ବାହାନା,
ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ଶବ ଉପରେ ମୁ ଠିଆ ହେଇଚି, ନିଜେ ଜଗି ସେ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ତୁ ବଢ଼ାନା, ମୁ କରୋନା, ମତେ ଡରନା।
ଏତେ ଲାଇଟିରେ ମତେ ନେନା, ମୁ କରୋନା।
ସରକାରୀ କଥା ମାନୁଥା, ଘରେ ସବୁବେଳେ ରାହୁଥା, ଘର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସମୟ ମିଳିଛି, ଜିଦି କରି କୁଆଡେ ଯାନା, ମତେ ଡ଼ରନା।

He had earlier released a music video ‘Hoshiyar, Corona Aaila Lo’, highlighting the source, the precautionary measures and changed social practices following the spread of the novel coronavirus to 164 countries.
