Mumbai: During an open stage interaction at the opening session of Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star, 2019, Bollywood’s top-notch actress Deepika Padukone revealed some interesting details about husband Ranveer Singh and ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
According to a report in Aisanet, film critics Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra had asked Deepika to highlight one difference between the acting styles of Ranveer and Ranbir.
The actress said that as an actor, Ranbir is quite spontaneous, just like her, whereas Ranveer really works hard to get into the character which he is portraying on screen.
“Ranbir doesn’t really have a process; he is very spontaneous. I have never really seen him ‘prepare’ for his role as such. He’s like me in that respect. Our approach is 50% rehearsed and 50% spontaneous. Ranveer, on the other hand, really gets into the process. He changes everything for the role – right from the car he drives, to the clothes and the perfume he wears,” Deepika was quoted as saying by Asianet.
Talking about her great bonding with hubby Ranveer in real life, Deepika said, “He’s a different person every six months, which is probably one of the reasons why our relationship has lasted so long; I never get bored.”
Deepika and Ranbir were once a couple before parting ways after the latter was caught cheating on her.
However, the duo’s on-screen chemistry is quite captivating even today.
Deepika tied the knot with Ranveer in November 2018 and the couple recently celebrated their second marriage anniversary. Their chemistry is also mesmerizing.
