New Delhi: The Twitter outage late Friday night, which affected both its website and app, hit thousands of users across the world.
According to reports, outage tracking website DownDetector.com collated nearly 15,000 user reports of outage.
DownDetector said several Indian cities reported the outage at around 11 pm on Friday, including Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Chennai, among others.
Earlier on Friday morning, Airtel users were hit by an outage for a brief period.
