New Delhi: As Union Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan continues to face the heat over NEET-UG paper leak, even his daughter has not been spared by online trollers.

So much so that Naimisha Pradhan has deactivated her Instagram account after facing a wave of online criticism as the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar – demanding Pradhan’s resignation due to the NEET-UG paper leak — intensified.

Naimisha, who holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Tufts Universityy Diplomacy at Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA, found her account flooded in the comments section of several posts, tagging her.

For no fault of hers, the outrage against Naimisha increased after police action on student protesters on Monday during CJP’s match to Parliament.

Several netizens questioned Naimisha’s education abroad, urging her father to resign as Education minister.

One of the posts tagging Pradhan’s daughter claimed that she had pursued a Masters degree in the USA because of the education system in the country. “You’re studying abroad because you know what millions of Indian students already know: our education system is failing them,” the post said, adding that other students will also leave the country if they had “the privilege and the money.”

Social media users also commented on posts shared by Tufts University, posting messages such as ‘Dharmendra Pradhan resign.’ Some even called on the university to suspend Naimisha, although she has already completed her LLM degree.
