Bhubaneswar: Odisha FC have parted ways with their assistant coach Thangboi Singto.
Thangboi had joined the club ahead of the Hero Indian Super League’s (ISL) sixth season last year, under head coach Josep Gombau. The 46-year-old Manipuri was also the Bhubaneswar-based club’s head of youth development.
“It was a great and wonderful experience for me at Odisha FC and I would like to thank everyone at the club for their support. It was great to work with Josep. I wish the club all the best for the upcoming ISL season. Will miss Odisha, its peace-loving people and the cheers of the Juggernauts. Dhanyabad OFC,” Thangboi said in his farewell message.
Odisha FC have appointed Englishman Stuart Baxter as coach for ISL-7.
Thanking Thangboi for his services, OFC president Rohan Sharma wished him good luck for his future endeavours.
