Bhubaneswar: Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) and Chief Wildlife Warden of Odisha, Hari Shankar Upadhyay on Wednesday said that was no plan to reopen the Nandankanan zoo for the tourists now.
Briefing mediapersons here, he said the zoo will remain closed during the rainy season. A decision to reopen it in October or November will be taken after reviewing the COVID-19 pandemic in the state, he added.
Nandankan has been closed since March 15 in the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
