Mumbai: After delivering one of the biggest box-office hits last year, ‘Pushpa’ director Sukumar is reportedly in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming rural political drama.
Reports suggest that the filmmaker, known for directing unconventiona
l characters in his movies, is mulling presenting Shah Rukh in a never-seen-before avatar of an anti-hero in his upcoming project.
“King Khan will play an anti-hero, but this will be a rural political action drama that promises to show him in a raw, rustic, and desi avatar,” a source was quoted as saying by Mid-Day.
Shah Rukh has earlier played anti-hero in ‘Darr’ and ‘Baazigar,’ and both the films did wonders at the box-office.
Sukumar is currently occupied with multiple projects, including ‘RC 17’ with Ram Charan, and ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage.’
On the other hand, SRK is gearing up with ‘King,’ and ‘Pathaan 2.’
