Bhubaneswar: Odisha boys got off to a winning start in the national sub-junior football championship at Malda in West Bengal on Monday.
Captain Aman Lakra and Soneram Soren scored a goal each to set up Odisha’s 2-0 victory against Kerala in Group C.
Mizoram and Maharashtra, the other two teams in the group, featured in a thoroughly one-sided clash, with Mizoram winning 9-0.
