Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience a gradual fall in the night temperature by 2-4 degree Celsius after 24 hours, spanning over the subsequent four days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday.
While dry weather is expected across the state, the MeT office has forecast light rain or thundershower at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Nuapada, Kalahandi and Bargarh till 8.30 am on Tuesday. Shallow to moderate fog is also likely to occur at one or two places in Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Kalahandi during this period.
Some places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal and Cuttack districts are likely to experience fog in the subsequent 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 31.6˚C was recorded at Bhubaneswar and the lowest minimum temperature of 13.2°C at Sundargarh and Keonjhar, it added.
