Mumbai: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has joined the cast of a yet-to-be-titled film starring ‘Baahubali’ Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. This sci-fi film will be directed by ‘Mahanati’ director Nag Ashwin.
Amitabh Bachchan had on Friday took to Twitter and announced the news. Big B wrote, “T 3685 – An honor and a privilege to be a part of this momentous and most ambitious venture .. and my greetings for the completion of 50 years for Vyjayanthi Movies .. may you celebrate another 50 .. and on.”
Besides the untitled movie, Big B is now booked for the next few years with his strong pipeline of big-budget films. Now let’s take a look at Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming films.
1. Brahmastra:
Brahmastra is a three-part action fantasy also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in lead roles. The film is written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar is producing it.
2. Chehre:
This mystery thriller directed by Rumi Jaffery and produced by Anand Pandit stars Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Rhea Chakraborty in lead roles.
3. Jhund:
This upcoming sports drama is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO Slum Soccer. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru in main roles and Sairat fame Nagraj Manjule is directing the film. The film is produced under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment Pvt.Ltd and Aatpat Films.
4. Uyarndha Manithan:
