Bhubaneswar: Principal Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman Western Odisha Development Council (WODC), Asit Tripathy on Monday directed the collectors to take the lead in industrialisation of their districts by leveraging the facilitating policies of the Government.
Tripathy was on a visit to Jharsuguda today to review the ongoing development projects. He was accompanied by Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma and IPICOL MD, Nitin B Jawale.
Tripathy said there are many proactive policies introduced by Odisha Government which have created a benchmark at the national level. The GO SWIFT portal of the Odisha Government has been praised by the NITI Aayog.
“Our focus was to review the progress of industries which got clearance through the Single Window mechanism in Sundargarh, Deogarh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur districts. I wanted to carry out the review on the ground rather than doing it from Bhubaneswar,” Tripathy added.
