Puri: A delegation of the World Bank arrived in Puri on Sunday to assess the damage caused by extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani.
According to sources, one team will assess the damage in the affected areas of Puri district, while another will take stock of the damage in the Pilgrim Town.
The delegation will also hold discussions with the Chief Secretary A K Padhi in this regard later in the day.
Notably, Fani made landfall near Puri coast on May 3. Besides Puri, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are the two other important cities worst affected by the cyclonic storm.
