According to reports, the female wolf had wounds on face and leg and was later sent to Nandankanan in Bhubaneswar for treatment.
Earlier last month, residents of Sasanapada village under Niali block in the district had captured an animal, suspecting it to be behind the attacks on sheep in the area.
