Cuttack: Even as reports of sheep killing continue to pour in, an Indian wolf, suspected to be the animal behind the incidents in Nilai of Cuttack district, was caught from a shed at Nakadiha village under Nimapada police limits on Tuesday.
According to reports, the female wolf had wounds on face and leg and was later sent to Nandankanan in Bhubaneswar for treatment.
Earlier last month, residents of Sasanapada village under Niali block in the district had captured an animal, suspecting it to be behind the attacks on sheep in the area.
Meanwhile, three sheep were again found dead in a cattle shed while two others went missing at Badakorakora village in Niali block this morning.
