Woman accuses Talasara MLA of misbehaving with her

Talasara: A woman on Wednesday lodged a police complaint against local MLA Prafulla Majhi and five others, accusing them of misbehaving and threatening her over a land dispute.
Namita Naik of Katangdihi village in Sundargarh district in her complaint stated that Majhi and his supporters coerced her to vacate the land, where she was working. They attempted to outrage her modesty when she opposed, the woman alleged.
On the basis of the complaint, Sadar police have registered a case against the MLA under Sections 447, 323, 354 (B), 294, 506 and 34 of the IPC.
The MLA refuted the allegation and said the charges are politically motivated. He also filed a counter complaint stating that the land belongs to his wife and the woman abused them when his supporters requested her to vacate the land.
