Woman attacked by goons for opposing liquor shop in Balasore

Balasore: Goons allegedly attacked a woman for protesting against a liquor shop near Kasaba village in Balasore district on Saturday.
The injured, Gayatri Dhada, was admitted to Balasore district headquarters hospital for treatment. She is an anganwadi worker.
She later lodged a complaint at Sadar police station.
According to the complainant, the goons beat her up with sticks for protesting against the liquor shop. Later, they dumped her near a police outpost in a critical condition. Some locals rescued her from the spot and took her to the hospital.
Police has started investigating the matter.
