Woman, brother-in-law hacked to death over ‘family dispute’

Keonjhar: A woman and her brother-in-law were allegedly hacked to death at Sorisakhunta village under Bansapal block of Keonjhar district late on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Jai Dehuri (60) and Bira Dehuri (50).

According to police sources, one Pathani Dehury, who is a relative of the duo besides being neighbour, attacked them with an axe around 12 midnight over past enmity. He has been detained for interrogation.

Further investigation is on, the sources added.
