Woman Brutally Gang-Raped Inside Moving Bus In Uttar Pradesh

Meerut: A woman passenger was allegedly gang-raped inside a running bus for the whole night here on Friday and was later thrown out of the bus.

The woman was found lying unconscious on Delhi Road in Meerut on Saturday morning. She was rushed to the hospital where she shared her traumatic experience.

Uttar Pradesh has seen third such incident in a month’s time.

According to reports, the victim has apparently told the cops that she took a bus from Bhaisali bus stand on Friday night. She was given a cold drink which was apparently spiked. Soon after the woman lost consciousness, she was gang-raped by the driver and the conductor through the entire night.

The victim hails from Sardhana town of Meerut district.

After having recorded statement, Police have sent the woman for medical examination.

Ajay Sahni, Meerut SSP, confirmed the incident and said that efforts were on to nab the culprits.
