Bhubaneswar: Even as the Odisha capital is dealing with the shock of rape-murder of a 3-year-old, reports of a woman being brutally stabbed to death at Gothapatna under Chandaka police limits has come to the fore.
The woman, identified as Sasmita Behera (35), ran a tiffin stall and was allegedly stabbed in a ruthless manner by unidentified miscreants late on Monday. She was staying with her family in Krishnapuri colony, sources said.

While the reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, Chandaka police along with the scientific team have reached the spot and an investigation is underway. Efforts are on to identify and apprehend the killers.
