Choudwar: A woman was charred to death after a major fire broke out in a house located at Dahanigadia in Choudwar in Cuttack district late on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Nayana Samal.
Though the exact reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained, fire officials suspect that a gas cylinder might have exploded, resulting in fire.
The woman died due to suffocation as she was sleeping in her house, when the mishap occurred, sources said.
