Bhadrak: A 24-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after being raped by a 35-year-old man at Bankamuha village under Dhusuri police limits in Bhadrak district on Thursday.
She was found hanging from ceiling fan of the house.
Police seized the body for postmortem on Friday morning. They also recovered a suicide note purportedly written by the victim.
In the complaint, brother of the deceased Babubahan has identified the accused as Santosh Majhi of the same locality.
A case has been registered and investigation is on, police sources said.
