Jajpur: A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Soler village under Danagadi block of Jajpur district on Sunday.
She was identified as Kunu Mohanty (32), a native of Udainathpur under Bari block in the district.
After receiving information regarding the incident, police rushed to the spot, seized the body and sent it to Danagadi community health centre for postmortem.
Kunu’s husband Rajesh Mohanty used to work as a labourer at company here. Villagers suspect that the woman took the extreme step over a family feud.
