Boudh: A woman constable was found hanging in her government quarters at Police Colony in Butupali locality of Odisha’s Boudh district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Champa Meher.
Sources said that she was working as a guard in Boudh government treasury and residing in the staff quarters along with her husband and two children. She was immediately taken to the district headquarters hospital, where doctors declared her ‘dead’.
On being informed, police reached the spot and detained her husband for questioning.
