Berhampur: Santoshini Oram, a woman police officer who recently recovered from COVID-19, set an example for others by finishing 100-meter walking competition in just 15 seconds.
Oram, who is posted as IIC of Berhampur Sadar police station, bagged first place in the 100-metre category.
She had participated in the ‘Odisha State Masters Athletic Meet-2021 held today. Oram was also a participant in the 3000 meter walking event and excelled in it too.
The athletic meet is a state-level event for athletes above the age of 40.
It was organised by Ganjam District Athletic Association at Khallikote College Stadium.
