Jharsuguda: A day after the bodies of a woman and her two minor daughters were found, Jharsuguda police found the body of the woman’s husband who was missing after the incident.
Body of the man, identified as Narayan Podar (35) was found in a well at Fatak Pada near Ganganagar area under Brajrajnagar police limits on Thursday. Narayan worked as a daily wage labourer.
Bodies his wife Sony (28) and daughters Muskan (5) and Radhika (3) were found in their rented house on Wednesday. As Narayan was missing from the site, police launched a search operation only to find his body in a well near his house on Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, though there were no external injury marks on the bodies of kids, there were nail marks on Sony’s neck.
Police have detained Narayan’s younger brother Kalakahnu for interrogation. The police action comes from the fact that a few days back, Sony had lodged a complaint against Kalakahnu with the local police station alleging rape attempt.
Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and reason behind the deaths is yet to be ascertained.
