Jharsuguda: Mystery surrounded the death of a woman at a quarantine centre in the Raghunathpali area of Jharsuguda district late on Sunday night.
According to sources, the deceased aged 70 was staying at the centre since July 12 along with her kin after one of her Bhubaneswar-returnee family members tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the exact cause of her death is yet to be ascertained. It’s suspected that she died in her sleep. On being informed, the police officials reached the spot and registered a case.
The body of the woman was cremated on Monday morning in the presence of police officials.
