Balasore: In a tragic incident, a woman was killed after being hit by a tractor near Kathapal bridge at Nilagiri in Balasore district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Jharana Sethi of Kanasa.
According to local residents of the area, the woman was hit by the tractor while crossing the street and died on the spot. They attributed the accident to reckless of the tractor driver.
Police seized the body and sent it for postmortem.
