Bhadrak: A woman was burnt alive and her husband seriously injured after an LPG cylinder went off inside the house at Serapur village under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Bhadrak district in the early hours of Wednesday.
While the deceased has been identified as Sarojini Parida, the condition of her husband at the district headquarters hospital is stated to be critical.
Some villagers said that the incident took place around 5.30 am.
Fire Services personnel, who doused the flames in the house, said that the incident took place due to a short-circuit in the kitchen.
