Bhubaneswar: A woman doctor sustained serious injuries after her car fell off Sailong overbridge on NH-20 near Anandpur in Odisha’s Keonjhar district.
The doctor has been identified as Subhashree Mishra.
According to sources, Subhashree lost control over the vehicle while travelling from Cuttack to Keonjhar hospital on Monday, leading to the accident. Locals rescued and rushed her to sub-divisional hospital, where she was administered first-aid. Her condition is stated to be stable.
Police have seized the vehicle and begun an investigation.
