Woman Found Dead In Locked House Near Ruchika Market In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Body of a woman was found from a locked house at Mahaveer slum near Ruchika market in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

According to sources, the locals informed the police as the house of the deceased, which was bolted from inside, was not opened for the last two days and foul smell was coming from inside. Bharatpur police reached the spot and broke the front door open to find the woman dead.

As the woman is suspected to have died two days back, her body had started decomposing, said the police.

The woman was staying with her boyfriend on rent in the house for the last 15 days, said the locals. It is suspected that his boyfriend killed her and is absconding.
