Woman Found In Critical Condition In Angul

Angul: A woman was recovered in a critical condition, after she was allegedly poisoned, near Gurudhi village of Angul district on Thursday.

Sources said residents spotted the woman and informed her family members. She was then rushed to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital. She has been identified as the wife of Pranabandhu Pradhan of Gurudhi village. Her son alleged that five persons had forcefully tried to poison her.

The woman had a heated argument with her husband on Wednesday, following which she left home and went to her friend’s house, the sources said. It is not know how she ended up on the roadside near the village.
