Keonjhar: A woman was held hostage and allegedly gang-raped by two men for three days in Barbil area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district. She managed to free herself from the clutches of the men and file a complaint at Barbil police station on Sunday.
Following the complaint, police swung into action and arrested the two men.
As per the complaint filed by the woman, the two accused Khudabaksh Ansari and Muhammad Naseer are truck drivers and were known to her.
On March 11 the woman had a fight with her husband after which she left her house at Bhadrasahi village and was walking down the road when the the two men offered her a lift at Roida Square.
When she denied, they forcibly took her inside the truck and raped her. They later took the victim to a house, where they kept and raped her for three days. She managed to escape from their clutches on Sunday and informed the police.
The truck was seized by police and the the woman’s medical examination conducted.
