Balasore: In a shocking incident, a woman of Dudhahansa village under Basta police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district jumped in front of a running train with her 3-year-old son on Saturday afternoon.
The incident took place at about 1.30 pm near Nuagaon railway station, eyewitnesses said.
The deceased woman is identified as Ritarani (25).
Following information, a team of Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the spot and took the bodies to the CHC at Basta for post mortem.
While the exact cause of incident was not immediately known, sources in the locality attributed it to the prolonged family feud.
