Cuttack: A woman reportedly tried to commit suicide by jumping off the Kathajodi bridge in Cuttack late on Friday.
The identity of the woman is yet to be revealed.
According to sources, the locals spotted the woman near Panchmukhi Hanuman temple in Khannagar in a critical condition and took her to a hospital.

A two-wheeler, mobile phone and purse of the woman have been seized from the overbridge. Though the reason behind the suicide attempt is yet to be ascertained, police have started an investigation into the matter.
